The charity campaign we involved in the month of August 2021 is called SunwayGoesMAD project.
Sunway Goes Making A Difference project, namely SunwayGoesMAD, is established by a bunch of caring and loving people from the Sunway Alumni and Sunway Student Volunteers, with an aim to donate goods such as milk powder, diapers, vitamins and oximeter to the Sunway and Subang communities that have been affected amid the lockdowns due to Covid-19 pandemic.
With a total worth of RM10000, 100 pieces of our Joylee Medical Pro Fingertips Pulse Oximeter is donated to this project. Other than Joylee, Vinda Group SEA Careers also joined the force to supply basic necessities to the Sunway and Subang societies. The items collected are then passed on to Subang MP Office lead by YB Michelle Ng to be donated to the underprivilege communities in Sunway/Subang areas.
This SunwayGoesMAD project has been running since 5th August 2021, and more than 200 households in Sunway/Subang area has been benefiting from this program. Thankful for the opportunity, Joylee is honored to be able to join the team and contribute to the community of Subang Jaya, Malaysia.
As how the project is named, Sunway Goes Making A Difference, we believed with every little effort everyone put in, together, we can achieve a bigger and better difference for our society.
